About me
Welcome to my world of spicy short stories, passion, and unforgettable characters. I’m Ruby Darkrose, the author behind Craving a Stranger and One Last Tease, steamy, emotional stories that explore desire, obsession, and the thrill of the unexpected.
I never set out to be a writer. In fact, when I first started putting my stories to paper, they were just for me, little escapes, secret fantasies, words that I never imagined anyone else would read. I kept them tucked away, convinced they were too bold, too intense, too personal. But then, I took a chance.
When I finally shared my work, something incredible happened. People connected with it. They felt the tension, the chemistry, the ache of longing I poured into every scene. Readers told me my stories made them blush, made their hearts race, made them crave more. And suddenly, writing wasn’t just a private escape anymore, it was something I wanted to share with the world.
Now, I’m more determined than ever to continue the Kimberly series, a collection of short spicy stories centered around a woman who isn’t afraid to step into her desires, face her past, and explore the thrill of the unknown. Kimberly’s journey is intense, seductive, and unapologetically bold, just like the stories I love to write.
But that’s not all.
When I was writing my stories, I searched for music that would fit perfectly with them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find what I was looking for, so I started exploring ways to create it myself. As a woman who loves technology, I spent countless hours behind my laptop researching. Just when I was about to give up, I discovered it, my way of making music, where I could turn my words into actual songs. Songs with different vibes, different feelings, and every part of me woven into them.

This is my first read from Ruby Darkrose, but it definitely won’t be my last, having already ordered One Last Tease today!

This very short story/scene reminds me of the ending of another book, but in that book it was role playing with husband/wife.
This scene is I think what every woman would dream the perfect one night stand would be like. Very well written from the woman’s perspective. The scene wet my palate for a real book where this is the opening scene and you jump to say a year or six in the future and they meet again by chance.
